Regulations of the online intellectual contest "Language experts" organized in connection with the 33rd anniversary of the granting of the status of the state language to the Uzbek language and the "Day of the Uzbek language holiday" on October 21
I. General rules
1) The 33rd anniversary of the granting of the status of the state language to the Uzbek language by the Center for Supporting the Spiritual Growth of Students and Pupils under the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education and the "Student-Youth" team and October 21 "O On the occasion of "Uzbek language holiday" online intellectual contest "Language connoisseurs" (hereinafter referred to as contest) is organized.
2) Students studying in higher education institutions (including bachelor's, master's and doctoral students) can participate in this competition.
II. The purpose and tasks of the competition
3) The purpose of holding the online intellectual competition "Linguists":
To widely promote the state language in Uzbekistan and to increase the prestige of the Uzbek language as the state language and to improve the teaching of the Uzbek language and world literature among students in our country, the greatest value of the mother tongue, nationality, to explain that it is the basis of our high spirituality, as well as to further increase their interest in reading books, to expand the worldview, vocabulary, patriotism, social activity and involvement of the nation's destiny of the population and young people, to improve the reading culture, literacy, z is to form correct writing skills following the rules of spelling in our native language, as well as to further improve the language skills of students and young people.
III. Selection stage and terms
4) "Language connoisseurs" online intellectual competition is an individual competition, in which participants compete in answering test questions about the spelling rules of the Uzbek language and the use of punctuation within the specified time. During the tournament, the goal of the participants is to answer more questions than their opponents.
5) The contest will be held online in 2 stages, on the Telegram social network.
6) The 1st stage is the selection stage, in which the participants register for participation through a special Telegram bot, invite 5 friends to the competition in order to cover all students and our compatriots during the competition, and receive the bot they will have to answer a total of 150 test questions. Test questions are given 30 times a day for 5 days. Participants will be able to work on the tests at their own convenience, that is, there is no set time to answer the questions.
7) 200 participants who found the most correct answers to the test questions and 50 participants who invited the most friends to the contest (gathered the most referrals) have the opportunity to participate in the 2nd stage of the contest will be
8) If the points of the participants who have reached the next stage according to the results of the 1st stage are equal, all of them will have the opportunity to participate in the next stage.
9) In the 2nd stage of the competition, the participants will be asked 50 Uzbek language spelling rules and test questions on the use of punctuation marks. All participants must start the test questions at the same time and work within the allotted time. The results of participants who finish the tests after the allotted time are not taken into account.
10) In the 2nd stage, the results of the 1st stage are not added and all participants have an equal chance. At the end, the participants who found the most correct answers out of 50 tests will be declared the winners of the contest.
11) In case of equal scores of the participants in the decisive stage 2, the time spent by the participants to solve the test questions is considered, that is, the participant who spent less time to work on the tests, that participant is considered to be in a higher place.
IV. Awarding the winners of the competition
12) The winners of the competition will be awarded at a ceremonial awarding ceremony on October 21 - "Holiday of the Uzbek language". The cost of travel to and from the awarding ceremony of the winners is financed by the educational institution where the participant studies or works.
13) Participants who took high places in the competition will be awarded the following monetary prizes, diplomas and certificates by the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education:
1st place 1 person - 5,000,000 soums prize money and 1st degree diploma;
2nd place, 2 people - a cash prize of 4,000,000 soums and a II degree diploma;
3rd place 3 people - a cash prize of 3,000,000 soums and a diploma of III degree;
4th place 4 people - 2,000,000 soums prize money and a certificate;
5th place 10 people - 1,000,000 soums and a certificate.
