The list of named scholarships for students in Uzbekistan has been updated
Amendments were made to the presidential decree in connection with the introduction of certain named state scholarships for talented students of higher education institutions.
The following state scholarships are available for students of the last two years of undergraduate studies who have an "excellent" (maximum 25% "good") performance in all subjects and are engaged in creative work. established:
in technical directions — Beruniy,
in the fields of medicine — Ibn Sina,
in humanitarian directions — Navoi,
in visual and applied art and design directions - Kamoliddin Behzod,
in natural directions — Ulugbek,
in the field of cinematography - Khudoybergan Devonov,
in history and geography — Babur,
in physical education and sports - Pahlavon Mahmud,
At the International Islamic Academy of Uzbekistan - Imam al-Bukhari,
In higher educational institutions of the Republic of Karakalpakstan - Tolepbergen Qaipbergenov and Ibrayim Yusupov,
also in all directions - Islam Karimov.
According to the
State scholarships named after Beruni, Ibn Sina, Navoi, Kamoliddin Behzad and Ulugbek, one for every thousand students of higher courses of undergraduate education;
State scholarship named after Imam al-Bukhari to three senior students of the International Islamic Academy of Uzbekistan;
Khudoybergan Devonov state scholarship to one senior student of each higher education institution preparing personnel for the field of cinematography;
Babur state scholarship to one senior student of each higher education institution that prepares personnel for history and geography;
State scholarship named after Pahlavon Mahmoud to one senior student of each higher education institution that prepares personnel for physical education and sports;
State scholarships named after Tolepbergen Qaipbergenov and Ibrayim Yusupov to one senior student of each higher education institution in the Republic of Karakalpakstan;
Islam Karimov state scholarship is awarded to one senior student of each higher education institution.
