NamECI students got acquainted with the construction of Norin hydroelectric cascade in Uychi district
On March 25 of this year, the president launched the construction project of the Norin hydroelectric cascade with a capacity of 228 megawatts in Uychi district.
Students of the Faculty of Construction and Energy of the Institute got acquainted with the construction of this cascade. They boarded buses and headed to the construction site.
The cascade of Norin hydroelectric power stations consists of 6 hydroelectric power stations, the capacity of each hydroelectric power station is 38 megawatts. As a result of the launch of this promising project, an average of 1,025 mln. kWh of environmentally friendly electricity is produced.
As a result, 430,000 households will be supplied with electricity, more than 130 new jobs will be created.
Specialists of the joint-stock company "Uzbekhydro" gave detailed information about it to professors and students, directly introduced the construction process.
