Winter admission to the magistracy begins on December 20. A foreign language certificate is required, only a minimum level is not yet required
Winter admission to the magistracy of state universities for the 2022/2023 academic year will be held online through the electronic system magistr.edu.uz from December 20, 2022 to January 10, 2023 (inclusive).
The results of the competition are determined on the basis of the average scores of the bachelor's degree. That is, this time there will also be no entrance exams.
An exception is made only for a foreign certificate.
As an exception, candidates with a certificate regardless of the level of foreign language proficiency (except for C1 certificate or B2 certificate) are allowed to participate in the competition.
An important aspect is that enrolled students must obtain a certificate of the required level during their studies. Otherwise, it is not allowed to the final state certification.
What does it mean?
Therefore, even with winter admission, a certificate is requested that determines the level of language proficiency. Acceptance is not possible without a certificate.
But this does not mean that there is not even a minimum requirement. According to the current procedure, the applicant must have at least C1 in philological specialties and at least B2 in non-philological specialties with a national or relevant international certificate. Now, for example, you can enroll in a master's program even with a B1 level certificate.
The main condition is to get a C1 or B2 certificate as needed until you graduate. Otherwise, you will not be admitted to the final certification. In other words, a master's degree is not issued until you receive the required certificate.
