Forum France-Uzbekistan: an important factor in effective cooperation in the field of higher education
The French capital is hosting the opening ceremony of Campus France-2022 and the II France-Uzbekistan Universities Forum, which is attended by about 500 rectors, representatives of the scientific community and professors.
Ms. Donatien Issar, head of Campus France, opened the forum with an opening speech and expressed special gratitude to the delegation of Uzbekistan, who visited to establish close cooperation in the field of education. The speakers spoke about cooperation between the two countries, including relations in the field of higher education.
Speaking at the event, Minister of Higher and Secondary Specialized Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdukadir Tashkulov stressed that the meeting is very important and significant for both parties, and, in turn, cooperation between the two countries in the field of higher education is expanding and strengthening every year.
“This forum serves to establish new direct inter-university relations, train personnel, exchange views and experience in the field of education and science,” A. Tashkulov said.
As already mentioned, in recent years Uzbekistan has established cooperation with more than 100 prestigious foreign universities, including the United States, Germany, Russia, Belarus, the Netherlands, Israel, Italy, Finland, the Czech Republic, China, India, the Republic of Korea.
At present, higher educational institutions of Uzbekistan are effectively cooperating with the French Paris International Fashion Academy, the Vatel School of Hotel and Tourism Business, the National Aviation School ENAC (ENAK), the universities of Panthéon-Sarbonne, Strasbourg, Cergi Pontoise, Bordeaux, Poitiers, Lorraine.
The forum discusses a productive discussion, exchange of experience and long-term plans for the continuation of bilateral cooperation between universities.
