SDG. 11.4.3. Remote working for employees commuting

Pursuant to the Presidential Decree No. 5969 of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated March 19, 2020, in accordance with paragraph 9.9 of the Public Agreement concluded between the rectorship of the Namangan Engineering-Construction Institute and the union committee of employees and students,
- transfers employees, especially pregnant women, the elderly, disabled and chronically ill persons, with their consent, to the remote working method, convenient work schedule or working from home;
- pregnant women, the elderly, people with disabilities, and employees with chronic diseases enjoy the right to remote work, flexible work schedule or work at home.
- taking into account the fact that the employee working at a remote job distributes his working time according to his will, they are paid a lump sum for the work performed by them.
In addition, Article 16 of the Labor Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan defines the basic labor rights of employees. Based on it:
According to the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan, every person has the right to work, to freely choose a job, to work on the basis of fair working conditions, and to be protected from unemployment in accordance with the law.
Each employee:
have the right to rest provided by establishing fixed working hours, shortening the working day for a number of professions and jobs, weekly rest days, holidays, as well as paid annual leave.
Article 228-1 of the Labor Code stipulates "the right of women with children under three years of age who work in organizations and institutions financially supported by the budget to reduced working hours." According to this;
Women with children under the age of three who work in institutions and organizations financially supported by the budget are assigned a reduced working time of no more than thirty-five hours per week.
