Devonaboy mosque
The first building of the mosque was built in the early 1870s with the help of Devonaboy, a large land and water owner from Korasuv, based on the project of the well-known craftsman Isakhan.
It consisted of a decorated room and a small minaret, where prayers were held until 1928. Sung is closed and burned, it is used for crafts and other purposes.
In 1950, it was handed over to the Office of the Muslims of Central Asia and Kazakhstan and began to function as the only mosque in the region where Friday prayers are held. In 1982, it was included in the list of cultural heritage objects under state protection. After the fire in 1985, the prayer hall was completely restored. In the years of independence (2005-2011), with the project of the "Andijan Civil Project" institute, a magnificent monument was built on the southern wing of the mosque, based on the traditions of oriental national memorials, combining the arts of ancient tiling, calligraphy and engraving, and wood carving. . The memorial site is located on the "Great Silk Road" international tourist route.
