About the department
The quality control department is organized in accordance with the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan of July 18, 2017 No. 515 "On the organization of the State Inspectorate for the Quality Supervision of Education under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan" and is directly connected with the Institute.
The main purpose of the department:
-To study and analyze the compliance of students' knowledge with state educational standards, to monitor the quality of training, to organize internal certification of the institute and to identify the factors that negatively affect the quality of education and their results and taking remedial and preventive measures.
The main tasks and functions of the department:
- Analysis and examination of the provision of educational areas and specialties with state educational standards (SES), qualification requirements, curricula and science programs;
- To study the quality of the educational process at the institute, the level of its provision with textbooks and teaching materials;
- To study and analyze the relevance of the knowledge of students of the institute to the SES;
- Ensuring the implementation of regulations aimed at improving the quality of education;
- Monitoring the quality of training;
- Organization of internal attestation of the institute, identification of factors negatively affecting the quality of education based on the results, submission of information to the rector of the institute and the State Inspectorate;
- Internal monitoring to determine the status of professional qualifications of teachers in the structural units of the institute (faculty, department, department, center, academic lyceum), as well as the level of quality in postgraduate education and training and retraining to make proposals to the management of the institute on conducting, preparation of analytical data, elimination of the revealed shortcomings and problems;
- Control over the organization and effectiveness of student internships at the institute, taking into account the areas of study and specialties;
- Conducting educational seminars and trainings aimed at improving the quality of education in cooperation with the relevant structures of the institute;
- Formation of a base of public experts at the institute and regular seminars within the framework of the tasks assigned to them;
- Monitoring the issues of integrated cooperation between the educational process and production, innovative ideas, development and practical application of technologies;
- Informing the Board of the Institute, roundtables and conferences about the results of research and monitoring conducted by the department to improve the quality of education;
The main functions of the head of the department:
- Organizing the functions of the department based on the Laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan, decrees, resolutions and orders of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, resolutions and orders of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan and other current regulations on education, the head of the State Inspectorate and the orders and instructions of the rector;
- Development of current and future work plans of the department;
- Analysis and examination of the provision of educational areas and specialties with SES (State Education Standard), qualification requirements, curricula and science programs;
- Studying the quality of the educational process at the institute, the level of its provision with textbooks and teaching materials;
- Studying and analyze the compliance of the knowledge of students of the institute with the SES (State Education Standard);
- Internal monitoring to determine the status of professional qualifications of teachers in the structural units of the institute (faculty, department, center, academic lyceum), as well as the level of quality in postgraduate education and training and retraining to make proposals to the management of the institute on conducting, preparation of analytical data, elimination of the revealed shortcomings and problems;
- Controlling over the organization and effectiveness of student internships at the institute, taking into account the areas of study and specialties;
- Participating in the collection of information on the ranking and evaluation of higher education institutions on behalf of the State Inspectorate, the process of certification and study of the quality of education;
- Improving the professional skills of employees of the department, studying the experience of leading educational and research centers of foreign countries, developed at the expense of the President's Talent Fund or international projects and institutes, and their application in the educational process ;
- Participating in the development of measures to raise the rating of the institute to the international level in conjunction with the management of the institute and ensure its implementation;
- Conducting educational seminars and trainings aimed at improving the quality of education in cooperation with the relevant structures of the institute;
- Monitoring the issues of integrated cooperation between the educational process and production, innovative ideas, development and practical application of technologies;
- Participating in the Board of the Institute, roundtables and conferences.
The main functions of the chief specialist of the department:
- Organizing own functions on the basis of the Laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan, decrees, resolutions and orders of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, resolutions and orders of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan and other current regulations on education, the head of the State Inspectorate and the institute organization, orders and instructions of the rector and instructions of the head of the department;
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory documents and enforcement in the department;
- Monitoring the implementation of educational, scientific-methodological and research plans of the institute;
-Internal certification to determine the professional qualifications of teachers in the structural units of the institute (faculty, department, center, academic lyceum), as well as the level of quality in postgraduate education and training and retraining participation in the process and preparation of reports;
- Assessing the objectivity, transparency and quality of rating scores based on the analysis of the process of assessing students' knowledge;
- The organization of regular social surveys among students, parents, professors and consumers in order to study the social environment, training and quality of education at the institute and the results.
- Preparation of analytical data
- Formation of a base of public experts and regular seminars with them;
- Taking measures to ensure the timely elimination of shortcomings and deficiencies identified at the institute in the process of certification, study of the quality of education;
- Development of normative and methodological documents related to the activities of the department;
- Regular study of innovations in the field of quality control in education in the country and abroad and the development of recommendations for their implementation in the educational process;
- With the permission of the head of the department on behalf of the State Inspectorate participating in the collection of information on the ranking and evaluation of higher education institutions, the process of certification and study of the quality of education.
