Providing public access to libraries
On 3.12.2021, the tutor of the Faculty of Economics and Management, D. Maksudov, in the Namangan information-library center named after "Nodirabegim", "The life and work of Sharafiddin Ali Yazdi, a major figure of the Second Renaissance phenomenon ." They organized an information and coaching hour on the subject of 56-BXA-21.
In 1918, the library started its activity under the cotton factory club in Namangan city with a book collection of 540 copies and was the first public library in the city.
In 1927, it began to function as the city's central library. In 1929, due to the increase in the book collection, the library moved to a separate building. In 1936, the library's book collection and periodicals grew to 18,398, and its readers to 8,695. After the establishment of Namangan region in 1941, the central library of the city was given the status of a regional library.

Due to the merger of Namangan region with Andijan region, in 1960-68 the library was called the Namangan city library. After the reorganization of Namangan region in 1968, it was again turned into a regional library. According to the decision of the Council of People's Deputies of Namangan Region on June 19, 1980, the library was named after the Uzbek poet Mohlaroyim Nodira. With the Resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. 381 of June 20, 2006 and the Resolution of the Governor of Namangan Region No. 154 of June 24, 2006, a regional information-library center named after Nodira was established on the basis of the regional scientific and universal library. The activity of IKM is carried out on the basis of the principles of humanity, generality, individual freedom. AKM is the regional branch of RAKM in the region and functions as a methodical center for all types of libraries in the region.
There are 11 departments in the library. In 2001, the "Legal Information Center" was established under the library. The aim of the center was to satisfy the demand of the population for legal information and to form a legal culture. "For those studying the Constitution", "Do you know your rights?" Educational and methodological manuals named.
As of October 1, 2005, the book fund of the library was 587.3 thousand printed units, the number of readers was 11,641 people. The library has more than 487 thousand literature, newspapers and magazines of various fields, as well as audio-visual materials, 1,254 there are rare books and manuscripts.
In 2006, the library was transformed into an information-library center of Namangan region.
