Law enforcement academy to be created in Uzbekistan
The Academy of Law Enforcement Bodies of the Republic of Uzbekistan will be created on the basis of the Academy of the Prosecutor General's Office. The Academy is a specialized institution of higher education and research, which is part of the organizational structure of the General Prosecutor's Office and has the status of a legal entity.
Starting from the 2023/2024 academic year, the Academy organizes a full-fledged educational process in a two-level system of higher education - undergraduate and graduate - in operational-search activities and other areas of law enforcement.
The annual admission quota of the Academy in the field of investigative activities will be up to 250 students for the bachelor's program and up to 50 employees of the competent state bodies with higher legal education for the master's program.
The duration of study at the Academy is three years for the undergraduate program, one year for the master's program in investigations.
