About the department
The department has been operating since 1985. The department of "Physical culture" conducts training sessions on the subject of "Physical education and sports" for all undergraduate students of the institute. The department has 6 36x18-meter sports halls, summer volleyball, small football, basketball, handball, and tennis courts, which are equipped with visual aids and physical training equipment in accordance with modern requirements.
The purpose of physical education of students is to form a person's physical culture, which in turn ensures a person's readiness for social and professional activities, adherence to a healthy lifestyle, and the desire to regularly achieve physical fitness.
In order to achieve the above-mentioned goals, the following educational, educational, developmental and health issues are resolved:
- understanding the role of physical culture in the formation of a person and preparing him for professional activity;
- to know the scientific and practical bases of physical culture and healthy lifestyle;
- forming a valuable relationship to physical culture, a healthy lifestyle, striving for physical perfection, and the need for self-education and regular exercise;
- acquiring systematic knowledge and skills in the qualities and characteristics of a person in the field of health care and strengthening, mental maturity, development and improvement of psychophysical abilities;
- ensuring the student's practical and physical preparation, which determines his psychophysical preparation for his future profession;
- to gain experience in the creative use of physical culture and sports activities to achieve life and professional goals.

He graduated from the Faculty of Physical Education of the Namangan State Pedagogical Institute, majoring in physical education.
