TODAY IS WORLD AIDS DAY
According to the World Health Organization, there are about 40 million HIV-infected people in the world. Their number is increasing by an average of 1.5 million per year. Worst of all, the disease claims more than 600,000 lives each year.
In total, since the beginning of the AIDS epidemic on earth, 75 million people have become infected with this disease, and more than 32 million have died.
Such alarming figures once again confirm how serious a threat this infectious disease poses to human health. After all, HIV and AIDS is a global problem that the whole world must fight together.
Therefore, every year on our planet, December 1 is celebrated as "World AIDS Day", and during this period, propaganda work to prevent the disease is activated.
